I am a Paleontology student who always had an interest in art. I sketch in pencil, but I really love 3-D art and have recently picked up needle felting as a way to sculpt in wool. I also like photography but have never been all that great at it, but I'll post my best!

Alright guys, my first journal.
Hi, I'm Jasmine, a Masters student at University of Alberta studying fossil snakes and teaching biology classes.
I posted just whatever was currently on my computer that I thought looked nice so I could finally create an account on da, which I had meant to do for a while (like, at least 7 years, since I discovered it as an alternative to elfwood). I've always had an issue getting artwork (and pictures, and music) from the rest of my world to my computer then the internet (facebook as Exhibit A), but I'm going to try. Need to buy a scanner though, since most (really all) of my art are pencil sketches. I gue

Yes I did, but then I realized that my adobe suite was on another of aunt suzi's computers and now I can't use it *pouts*. I can buy the suite for 250 here, but I just don't have it now, and besides, I haven't done ANY art since January! Gotta remember I'm a grad student!
I don't have it either... that's why I use GIMP andcoughpaintoolsaicough

You're welcome! I was strolling through your gallery and could not stop fave-ing, I had to! I love how complete and atmospheric your work is. I struggle even coloring line-art, and you manage it event in traditional media! Very inspiring.
